Inspiration

When I was sitting in my morning meditation, the Ancestors brought the word inspiration to me. They encouraged me to reflect on what inspires me. As I sat with this, my mind turned to everyday sources of inspiration—my children, grandchildren, and even nature. But the Ancestors urged me to go deeper.

Not fully understanding what they wanted me to uncover, I set the message aside. Later in the day, the word surfaced in my thoughts again. I was thinking about some work I needed to complete when the Ancestors asked, “Does that work inspire you?” I replied, “Not really.” They then asked, “Will the work you do inspire others?” I answered, “Yes.”

In that moment, I felt a spark of inspiration ignite within me. The Ancestors were teaching me that inspiration is not always about oneself. It can also be about inspiring others through our words, actions, or deeds. This realization was a powerful reminder that inspiration comes in many forms.

The words of the Ancestors are often like breadcrumbs, gently leading me from one insight to another until the full message becomes clear. Their wisdom reminds me to look beyond the surface and find deeper meaning in the seemingly ordinary moments of life.
